Mr Hussain carried out the removal of a brain tumour in September. Mr Hussain & Dr Dan Brown explained what was to be expected, talked through my scans and even contacted my wife at home to keep her informed. Mr Hussain and his team successfully removed the tumour. I saw Mr Hussain post-operatively and he made time to speak to me about specific issues I had. Mr Hussain listened to me and I never felt rushed. At a follow up appointment in November Mr Hussain again spent time answering all my questions. I would like to thank Mr Hussain and his team for all their support and a thank you to all staff on Ward 4 and 40 and Daryl who looked after me when on the ICU Ward. A big thank you. The first time my wife and I met this gentleman we were reassured by the detail and care in explaining all of the operation process,I was disappointed when the first Op date was cancelled and I had to wait four weeks but everything went very smoothly,He seems to be on the ward day and night I couldn't wish for better care and consideration from this gentleman Kevin & Elizabeth Abbey

Mr Hussain is a very genuine caring person. From the very beginning he explained what was going to happen. I had a brain tumour and Mr Hussain managed to remove it totally especially as it was a very difficult operation. We are eternally grateful to him and all the staff at the royal in Hull.

I was referred to Mr Hussain after an MRI scan showed a large prolapsed disc. I was looking forward to meeting him having been in so much pain over the earlier months. I wasn't disappointed when I met him at the Hull infirmary, I was shown the MRI results and with a detailed explanation of the procedure to be undertaken I was impressed and felt very calm and re assured. On the day of the procedure Mr Hussain visited me to inform me everything was in place for the operation and I felt very calm and comfortable. I was very careful not to over do any lifting or push myself over the following 3 weeks and after a follow up telephone call from Mr Hussain I informed him of my progress which was no pain and full use of my legs again although still not full strength I am getting there. Good work Mr Hussain and all at Castle Hill hospital who helped me, my life has changed and I am so happy with the results, care and after care. Kind Regards Neil Bunn

During the early part of this year I suffered a severe prolapsed disc and for months I suffered the most agonising pain I could imagine possible, I couldn't walk correctly or sleep and it rendered me unable to do my job in Engineering. I had the MRI scan and was quickly assigned to Mr Hussein for an assessment. I was looking forward to the meeting and upon arrival Mr Hussein showed me the MRI scan and explained the procedure I was to undergo and was very positive and installed me with great confidence. Throughout the following days he kept me informed of dates and relevant information I required which calmed my nerves on such an important operation. I met Mr Hussein once again on the day of my surgery and also afterwards. The whole experience was quite pleasant actually including the surgery. I was very careful not to overdo any movements over the next 3 weeks and it's been 4 weeks now and my life has changed totally. I feel no pain and everything feels right internally. I have the correct movement in my legs again and although I am not at full speed yet, each day I am making small progressions and can now walk up to 2 miles now. Mr Hussein has made follow up calls to me during my recovery and given me advice regarding the post operation. The whole experience has been great so if anyone is about to undergo treatment with Mr Hussein then you are in good hands. Good work Mr Hussein and everyone involved in my care at Castle Hill Hospital. A big Thankyou for helping me. Neil Bunn
